Connecticut has a long railway history and recently has been taking steps to revitalize that old-school method of transport within the state. Just last summer, the new rail line opened between Springfield and New Haven. But that’s not the only update along the tracks. This train depot restaurant is a fresh place to dine with front row seats to the action on the rails.

Located in the Mystic Train Station, Mystic Depot Roasters is an upbeat spot for coffee, pastries, and fantastic food. With a history spanning back to 1905, the train station has been updated to house a wonderful restaurant.
